First Prize: "Generic Scripting Engine" 

Contestant Name: Seshagiri Cherukuri

Company: Hewlett Packard India 

Brief Description: Scripting and plug-ins enable the end users of an application to add custom functionality without the developers having to change the core application. This project implements a generic architecture for designing such extensible applications for the .net framework.

 About Contestant: Seshagiri Cherukuri is currently working as a programmer/ tech lead with Hewlett-Packard India development center. He discovered computer programming while in college and says, that love still continues. Having a little above 5 yrs of experience, he spent in product development using C++, WIN32, C# and .net. He likes most, to develop applications that make a difference for others.

Contestants Name: Johnson Smith and Samson Samuel Zaharia

Company: Johnson works for TCS, Chennai and Samson for Sam sys & teleinfO 

Brief Description: CodeFence.NET is a Windows service application designed to facilitate continuous integration. CodeFence.NET monitors the source code repository, automatically rebuilds ones project when changes are detected and then emails the build result along with a list of changes since the last build.

About Contestants: Johnson & Samson essentially hail from Chennai, Tamil Nadu (India) and work for TATA Consultancy Services Limited.   We've been working in TCS for the last 3 years and Jhonson is currently Tech Lead - Microsoft Technology Labs. We work mostly on Cutting Edge applications and database systems built around SQL Server 2000 (and off-late SQL Server 2005) and application systems developed around the DNA paradigm and off-late the .NET Platform. We are quite interested in design patterns for enterprise applications and performance testing of systems and keep trying a lot of things in these. We are also an MCSE and an MCP. And yes, by the way, they love coding!!

 Brief Description:This is a 3-in-1 application that has text chatting, photo sharing and file transfer on a peer-peer network

 About Contestant:  Satish and Sravan are B.Tech graduates specializing in Computer Science from Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology having good knowledge of the .NET framework. They have also volunteered an event titled Microsoft .Net Explored# 2004.
